DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR UNWANTED MEDICATIONS?

Unwanted medications can now be safely disposed of at a year-round drop box at the Proctor Police Department, 100 Pionk Drive, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Acceptable medicines include prescription, over the counter, and pet medication in any form from households. Be sure to keep medications in the original container and place in a sealed clear plastic bag. Use a marker to cross out your name on the container. Drop off is anonymous-no ID is required. If you don’t have the original container, place it in a clear plastic bag and write the name of the medication (if known) on the bag.

What is not accepted? Needles, syringes, lancets and thermometers are not accepted. Bring these to the WLSSD Household Hazardous Waste facility. Medications from businesses are not accepted.
